Go to the grocery store...and you'll see a ton of different hard seltzers. They've really become popular over the last couple of years. Today, the very first craft seltzery in Charlotte is opening! Summit Seltzery has something for everyone. Summit Seltzery is open 7 days a week, but taking reservations for the first couple of weekends to help keep the crowds low and enforce social distancing. Reservations are booked for this weekend...but there are still some available next weekend.

This week, Cagney opens the doors to Summit Seltzery. It's the first of its kind business along the East Coast. The idea came to Cagney a couple of years ago and getting to this point has been a labor of love.

Charlotte is getting something new and exciting this summer - a seltzery! It's basically like a brewery but for seltzer. Summit Seltzery, the Queen City's first seltzery taproom and one of only a few in the U.S., will open this summer on Thrift Road in Wesley Heights. Summit plans to offer 14 flavored hard seltzers and a non-alcoholic seltzer, all crafted in-house.
